Cambodia's once bumpy Highway 3 has been upgraded and transformed into a major thoroughfare. The expansion of Cambodia's Highway 3 has been basically completed, with a total length of 135 kilometers. To avoid frequent traffic accidents, intelligent speed cameras will be installed in ten places along the way to monitor dangerous behaviors such as drivers speeding, not wearing seat belts, and smoking on the phone. This project greatly reduces the occurrence of traffic accidents while meeting the needs of local transportation development.
The camera on Highway 3 will be equipped with a wireless system, powered by solar energy, and captured using a 3 million high-definition traffic camera. It can recognize vehicle speed, body color, license plate, and violations such as drivers speeding, not wearing seat belts, or using mobile phones while driving will be reflected in the captured images. The new "capture artifact" not only provides convenience for the public and facilitates transportation, but also protects the safety of drivers and pedestrians, reducing property losses caused by traffic accidents.
